The old saying ‘children should be seen and not heard” is a thing of the past. Young people are a setting paths and inspiring people young and old. Time Magazine has released their list of the 25 Most Influential Teens of 2014.
Most notable to me are the teens who made their mark outside of the entertainment industry.
Some of the mentions include the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize Malala Yousafzai, who was shot in the head on her way to school in Pakistan by the Taliban. Mo’ne Davis, a young female pitcher who pitched a shut out in the Little League World Series. She also graced the cover of Sports Illustrated. Erik Finman, founder of a tutoring service for teens.
This is a great discussion starter with our young people. Ask the young people in your circle, ‘Who influences you?’
That’s a great conversation-starter. Thanks for sharing the link.
